Users
Users by default only have authorization to the UserAssignments
store. This way, they can add "personal" assignments but not class assignments.
User Levels
User (Most basic, given to all who sign up)
Restricted (Has less rights than student, ex. cannot view certain parts of the class)
Student (Most basic, given to all who join the class)
Privileged (Given special rights to a certain class, can by any combination)
Admin (Gives read, write, modify, and partial delete access to the entire class)
Coordinator (Owns the class, can even delete)
Superintendent (Licenses the software from Microart, by nature has higher authorization than all other levels)
Promoting Users
In the 'members' page of your class you can find a list of all users enrolled in a certain class. Here you can also see a 'promote' button which allows you to promote the user to a certain level, or give them a certain set of permissions.
Demoting Users
Similar steps to promoting the user, instead click "demote" or choose another set of permissions to change for the user.
Kicking and Banning Users
Users can also be kicked / banned from a class. A reason should be specified but is not required. Microart Planner will also automatically send a message to the student via email. If applicable, the Superintendent may also be chosen to be notified. Kicked users will not store any record of being kicked from the class and can join back at any time, useful if students joined the wrong class for example. Banned users, however, will have the incident recorded in their record.
Deleting Users
Users can only delete their own accounts. In order to delete an account, Goto settings and press deactivate. Email verification is also required to delete an account.
