Using NTFX is as easy as downloading the exe files and launching the subsystem. However, the real use case for NTFX is its customizability and provisioning profiles.

Obtain a copy of NTFX

To obtain a copy, visit our website and purchase any of the plans for NTFX.

Using NTFX as is (Vanilla NTFX)

Using NTFX without any customization is known as "Vanilla NTFX". When you first install NTFX, this is the copy you will be having. Once you get more used to NTFX, you can customize the looks, apps, configurations, and many more settings to best suit your use case.

Provisioning NTFX via a Server

NTFX can be used to pre-provision a copy. Provisioning via Server is only available to the Enterprise Plan members of NTFX. Installing provisioned copies of NTFX however does not depend on the existing plan.

Self-Provisioning NTFX

The most common way of provisioning NTFX is using the self-provision agent. This utility creates a temporary provisioning server for the duration of the setup just to get the NTFX configuration complete. After, the server is deleted and NTFX can be used as is.
